Clean diner with a traditional diner atmosphere. Our server was great and very attentive. The prices were affordable for good portion size and food was tasty. I enjoyed my gyro salad with green goddess dressing and my son had a BLT and French onion soup.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is a coloring activity sheet to keep them busy.
Great selection and well prepared delicious food. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, absolutely love their French dip and subbing onion rings!
Staff is on point every time I come. Food is amazing and you can’t beat the prices! Breakfast is what they do best…make sure you get the potato hash.
First visit and was pleasantly surprised! Grilled cheese was on point (perfectly crispy outside and gooey inside), soup and veggies were also yummy. Staff was very welcoming, will definitely stop in again
This is the most excellent diner ever! I loved this place so much on my visit to New Haven, I visited twice. Each time, the food was awesome—fresh, tasty, and ample. I will DEFINITELY be returning! Very much worth a trip!
The Valley Diner has been a staple for my family for as long as I can remember. I’m 30 years old and I’ve been to the diner for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s always been good quality food, prices and service. I moved away and I hadn’t been to the diner in a few years. Today my mom and I went back for breakfast and it was as if nothing had changed. I am so happy it’s still a staple!
I’ve been going here for years and have yet to have a negative experience. This isn’t your typical diner food, it’s much better. The diner is very spacious and has a great menu. The staff are all very nice and very responsive. I have never had to wait for a seat even when it’s busy, they know how to make their customers happy. I’ve never had the dessert but they all look incredible. The food comes out quickly and is always hot.
Absolutely fantastic. Had the Meat Lovers Omelet, served with the house hash browns and toast. My wife had a Egg Sandwich cooked to perfection. Very attentive staff and everybody was nice. It was packed on a Sunday but we had no wait. Very clean and everything looked new.
